Online sexchat with robot phone dating chatline

A well-trained in romance chat bot might be all you need on that day (and possibly beyond).

With all the “slightest” pressure that this day you are supposed to spend in someone’s company. Living on the verge of AI singularity totally implies that this someone does not have to be a human to maintain an evening of a flirty-witty conversation.

This goes back to an "Eliza" AI chat program (see What is an "Eliza" program?

) that I wrote in early 1987, in the 2nd year of my undergraduate degree at University College Dublin, Ireland.

Adrian David Cheok, Professor of Pervasive Computing at London’s City University, has been refining a device called a Kissinger: a set of pressure-sensitive artificial lips that can transmit a kiss from a real mouth to a similar device owned by a partner who might be thousands of miles away.

The Kissinger system has been in development for about eight years, with the latest model designed to plug into a smartphone.

In 4th year (early 1989), I hooked it up to my Net account (on the node IRLEARN on EARN/BITNET), so that when I was logged off (or to be precise, disconnected, from a VM/CMS system), it would process all talk messages sent to me.

There were numerous hilarious incidents, but this is the best one. I've logged out and gone off with my girlfriend, leaving Eliza (or "MGonz" as I called it) to mind the fort.

However, Google search for “romance chat bots”, “boyfriend bots” and alike spits out a big portion of plain and boring sex chat bots.

I haven’t bothered checking them so I don’t know whether they offer a male persona.

In 1995 I finally got around to setting up this page to tell everyone about it.

MGonz is finally written up as a book chapter: Humphrys, Mark (2008), "How my program passed the Turing Test", Chapter 15 of Parsing the Turing Test: Philosophical and Methodological Issues in the Quest for the Thinking Computer, Robert Epstein, Gary Roberts and Grace Beber (eds.), Springer, 2008.

“When I started out,” says David Levy, international chess champion and expert in artificial intelligence, “I didn’t know anything about artificial vaginas.
